Below are some of the emails we have recieved from our new puppy owners ..........

Hi Kate
Thank you so much for welcoming Stef, Aimée and I into your home today, we had a lovely time meeting you, Ian, Megan and your wonderful dogs (and cat).  I am so sorry we took so much of your time up, I didn't realise how long we had been with you until we got into the car to come home!!
I will be counting the days now until you let me know that Kia has had her pups!  I have been telling all my friends and family about your dogs and especially how fantastic Demi was with Aimée.   They were amazed when I said that Aimee had a hand-full of her whiskers and she didn't even bat an eye lash!!!  But she soon learnt that when she wanted to give Aimee a sniff to keep her whiskers away from her hands.  I think that proves how well mannered and intelligent she is!
I am working on Stef to let me have one of Demi pups from a future litter, he just keeps rolling his eyes at me at the moment.....
And another lovely email from one of our puppy owners .............

Hi Kate, how are you all!

I haven't been on-line for a while and when I am it's not for long as time seems to go nowhere at the moment. (I'm sure you know all about the lack of time!) However, I know you would always find time for a puppy update so thought I would let you know how she is doing.

Well, she is just fabulous in every way.  We have a routine going now and it is like she has always been here with us. Her and Hudson are so affectionate with each other and if I could describe her nature I would say that she is a happy little soul and very entertaining.

She has been out socialising more than Paris Hilton - even on the train and she is so chilled.  She went to the vets this morning for her Dontrol and to get her claws clipped. Why she was there, the Head vet came out to see her along with his wife, the vet nurses and the receptionist. They said they had been trying to find out all about NI's since the first meeting with Freya and were asking tons of questions about her nature and diet along with medical conditions. They wanted as much knowledge as possible as they think Freya is just wonderful and it was their first NI. Freya meanwhile was just resting her head in the vets hands and taking all the fuss. Good job she likes it there as they have asked if we can bring her in often so that they can see her grow! She is 16.2kg by the way and in great health.

She is thriving at training and we have completed 5 weeks and are down for the next course of 6 weeks.  We have been asked if we would volunteer to go one afternoon in February with her so that the dog trainers at cambridge vet school can be assessed for their training exams. Basically, they will act as dog trainers under the supervision of an expert like yourself and we have to give feedback.  I just know she will do both you and us proud

My daughter has a friend who's dad is a police dog handler. He met freya and fell head over heels. He said that she had such a 'Happy disposition' and was softer and calmer than a lot of the dogs that he works with.   Lol I know I can always boast to you cause you made her that way! She is certainly loved and not just by us. A guy at training school is desparate for an NI now so you should have plenty of traffic to your website as we tell everyone about you.

Take care Kate and I will sort out a picture soon - if I can fit her ears in the lens

the next email is from red & rooneys new mum & dad....................

Hi Kate,Ian and Megan, just sending an email to say we cannot  thankyou enough for allowing us to own two such fantastic and stunning boys.Red and Rooney are absolutely brilliant they are only 16 weeks old and we already want to come back for another!!!!They are such a big part of our family we could not imagine life without them. They are both so well behaved and their temperament is just out of this world, they are so laid back it is unbelievable. Our children absolutely love them to bits our 21 month old daughter Evie is always laying with them and giving them cuddles and they are just so gentle with her and they love running around chasing Harvey and Karis they love it.They have met so many people they have a huge fan club,we took them to the local shops and got stopped by so many people even the ladies who work in the card shop came outside to see them. They have visited the beach at Eastbourne and loved it, we had a meal on the harbour and they just laid there watching the boats go by just taking it all in they are an absolute pleasure to take out good as gold..Everyone who meets them always say that for puppy's they cannot believe their temperament how they are so calm. They are loving their food (smelly tripe)!and are growing by the day. They are brilliant with other dogs.Every morning at 7:30 they are up on the field and i think just about everyone from the school has come to meet them and of course fell in love with them.We are the proudest owners of these two very special boys Rooney has a look in his eye that just melts your heart and Red is just like a great big fluffy bear.Demi and Saxon can be very proud parents, and it is you who has made them how they are with giving them such an excellent start in life.Thankyou all for giving us this opportunity.Michelle and Aaron.

WHAT IS A BREEDER?

A Breeder (with a capital 'B') is one who thirsts for knowledge and
never really knows it all, one who wrestles with decisions of
conscience, convenience, and commitment.

A Breeder is one who sacrifices personal interests, finances, time,
friendships, fancy furniture and deep pile carpeting. She give up the
dreams of a long, luxurious cruise in favor of turning that all
important Show into this years "vacation".

The Breeder goes without sleep (but never without coffee) in hours
spent planning a breeding or watching anxiously over the birth
process, and afterwards, over every little sneeze, wiggle or cry.

The Breeder skips dinner parties because that litter is due and the
babies have to be fed at eight. She disregards birth fluids and puts
mouth to mouth to save a gasping newborn, literally blowing life into
a tiny, helpless creature that may be the culmination of a lifetime of
dreams.

A Breeders lap is a marvelous place where generations of proud and
noble champions once snoozed.

A Breeders hands are strong and firm and often soiled, but ever so
gentle and sensitive to the thrusts of a puppy's wet nose.

A Breeders back and knees are usually arthritic from stooping, bending
and sitting in the birthing box, but are strong enough to enable the
Breeder to show the next choice pup to a Championship.

A Breeders shoulders are stooped and often heaped with abuse from
competitors, but they're wide enough to support the weight of a
thousand defeats and frustrations.

A Breeders arms are always able to wield a mop, support an armful of
puppies, or lend a helping hand to a newcomer.

A Breeders ears are wondrous things, sometimes red (from being talked
about) or strangely shaped (from being pressed against a phone
receiver, often deaf to criticism, yet always fine-tuned to the
whimper of a sick puppy.

A Breeders eyes are blurred from pedigree research and sometimes blind
to her own dog's faults, but they are never so keen to the
competitions faults and are always searching for the perfect specimen.

A Breeders brain is foggy on faces, but it can recall pedigrees faster
than an IBM computer. It is so full of knowledge that sometimes it
blows a fuse. It catalogues thousands of good bonings, fine ears and
perfect heads… and buries in the soul the failures and the one that
didn't turn out.

The Breeders heart is often broken, but it beats strongly with hope
everlasting… and it's always in the right place" Oh, yes, there are
breeders and then, there are BREEDERS!!
